EcoSamana Impact Program

The EcoSamana Impact Program connects responsible tourism with local opportunity in Samaná. Every visitor who explores with us helps support a wider vision: stronger rural communities, more local participation, youth recreation, and respect for the island we proudly call home.

Note: This program is currently in its design and consultation phase. It is being presented to local authorities and partners, and is not yet publicly available through the booking system until approvals and operational preparations are completed.

Every Adventure Helps Build Something Bigger

At EcoSamana Adventures, we believe tourism should leave more than memories behind. A meaningful visit can create opportunities for local guides, farmers, drivers, artisans, boat crews, restaurants, and families connected to the places we explore.

Our goal is to develop a transparent, community-focused program where tourism activity supports practical local needs and positive experiences for young people — without turning community help into a marketing promise we cannot yet measure.

This is why the Impact Program is being designed carefully: with consultation, realistic goals, documented progress, and respect for the dignity of the people and communities involved.

Program Focus

The EcoSamana Impact Program is built around two simple pillars: community care and youth recreation. These areas reflect real needs in rural communities while staying connected to the kind of responsible tourism EcoSamana wants to promote.

EcoSamana CARE

A future support channel for selected community needs such as essential household items, school supplies, hygiene products, and small emergency assistance when properly approved and documented.

EcoSamana SPORTS

A future youth recreation initiative focused on sports gear, friendly community activities, basic recreational support, and positive spaces for young people in rural Samaná.

Transparency & Next Steps

EcoSamana Adventures intends to manage the program with clear internal records, separated project tracking, and responsible documentation. Once active, any contribution mechanism will be optional, clearly explained, and connected to specific community goals.

The next steps include presenting the program to local authorities and partners, identifying a pilot community, defining the first CARE or SPORTS project, and preparing a simple reporting process that can be shared with partners and community representatives.

Thank You for Helping Samaná Grow

When visitors choose EcoSamana Adventures, they are not only discovering beaches, caves, waterfalls, coffee farms, and mangroves. They are also helping strengthen a local tourism model that values people, place, culture, and community.
