About the Event
Every season, thousands of humpback whales (Megaptera novaeangliae) arrive in the Bay of Samaná to mate, rest, and nurture their calves. Megaptera 2026 is our tribute to this natural wonder: a respectful whale watching experience that brings the local community and visitors closer to the ocean.
